It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must announce the closure of ECE Central f/k/a Cheer Central. After 26 years and building something we never dreamed imaginable, circumstances beyond our control have led to the need to close our doors.

The building where we have been tenants for 20 years has changed ownership and our lease is not being renewed. It is extremely difficult to find space that works for our sport, meets our needs, and is centrally located to our families. With the market being what it is, an alternate space is just not in the cards.

We’ve had thousands of athletes set foot on these mats and they have ALL been part of our cheer family. Very rarely do we venture into the community without bumping into someone we’ve had the pleasure of coaching (or their dad, sister, grandma, etc.)…… Many have returned with their own children, a true testament to the love we all have for our sport and the wonderful experiences we’ve had.

We will always feel pride in the legacy we’ve built, being amongst the first to bring this sport to New England. We look forward to finishing the season strong and, wherever our athletes land, we hope to watch them continue to grow for years to come.
