When/Where Do The Teams Compete?
Our Tiny Teams compete starting typically in late January, and only within New England!
Important to Note:
– If your athlete was born in the year 2017 or earlier, they should attend regular Full Year tryouts. Children born in this year are eligible for our Tiny Program, as well as our Mini Program. Trying out does not necessarily mean that your athlete will be placed on a Mini-aged team, but all athletes of this age will be considered for both programs.
– If your athlete was born in 2018-2020, your athlete will only be considered for our Tiny Program.
Our half-year program is designed to offer all-star cheerleading at a less competitive pace and lower price. Our half-year teams practice once a week and we attend local competitions. We offer the same GREAT coaching, choreography, uniforms, practice space, safety, and skill level as our full-year program!
WHO: Our half-year program is for girls and boys aged 5-18. No cheer experience is required.
TRYOUTS: Team placements will be held Thursday, November 14th, 7-8 pm or Friday, November 15th at 5:30-6:30 pm. Private evaluations are also available. Athletes will receive team placement via email by November 22nd. There is a $50 tryout/registration fee.
PRACTICES: There will be a parent information meeting (via Zoom) prior to the start of practices. Practices will begin the week of December 1st. Teams will practice either Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings for 1.5-2.5 hours (depending on age group). Days/times are assigned after tryouts. As we get closer to competition, there may be some weeks where practices are added on Fridays to prepare for competition.
MONTHLY TUITION: Tuition is $85/month from December – April.
ADDITIONAL EXPENSES: 3 installments of $220 (includes registration, uniform rental, hair accessory, competition entry fees and coaches’ fees, choreography day and music). Installments of $220 are due December 1, January 1, and February 1. Team members may take tumbling each week for $10 per class.
COMPETITIONS: Half-year teams will compete 2/8 in Providence, RI; 3/1 in Providence, RI; 4/5 in Providence, RI and an exhibition event on either 4/12 or 4/13 in Worcester, MA.
